Featured Art Exhibits:

#2 Schlomer Haus Gallery (2128 Market St):

The exhibition is a curation of immortalized moments of black and brown bodies; there is insistence to be acknowledged and vulnerability in welcoming viewers to witness these bodies in stillness, motion, communion, groundedness.

#3 The Academy (2166 Market St):

We hope you'll join us this evening for our friend and Academy member Simón Malvaez's last show as an SF-based artist, as part of the monthly Castro Art Walk.

The collection is on display in the Showroom on our Main Level (other areas of the club are reserved for members & guests only).  We will have drinks available for purchase.  We hope to see you there!

#4 Flore Dispensary (258 Noe St):

Flore Dispensary will feature the work of Oscar Zamora Graves

#5 Art House SF (2324 Market St):

Ukrainian artist Alyona Krutogolova redefines what art is and what it isn’t.

Her characters don’t take themselves too seriously.  They’re too preoccupied with whatever they’re into: space rockets, flowers, bees, butterflies, bagels, cherries, aquariums, or ice cream.  “Art Therapy” opens today at Art House SF.

#6 2358 MRKT (2358 Market St):

'Hello City' opens on Feb 2nd 5-10pm

#7 Blush! Wine Bar (476 Castro St):

Blush will feature drawings by Sarah Rose Weitzman

#8 Fabulosa Books (489 Castro St):

We'll present works by Chasindoodles, a painter and illustrator who focuses on works featuring male figures and mid-century themes presented with a sense of playfulness and whimsy.

#11 Poesia (4072 18th St):

Paintings by Marius Starkey are on exhibit at Poesia Cafe e Ristorante.

#12 Welcome Castro (525 Castro St):

We will be exhibiting Dimas Arellano’s art.

#15 Ruby’s Clay Studio and Gallery (552A Noe St):

Have you ever been in a Hairy Situation?  Was it at work?  In your personal life?  Literally?  Figuratively?  Locally?  Globally?  Politically?  Emotionally?  Inside your head?  Or, out in the world?  In this solo show artist, Lucia Fagen DeLuca, turns to Tactile Bliss© to leave an indexical trace of her catharsis.

#16 MAG Galleries (3931 18th St):

WORD: Art from the Printed Word by Byron B. Kim, Mario Laplante, Katie Murken.  These artists use bibles, food coupons, telephone books, the New York Times and other printed words as the foundation for their art.

… and more!

See all of you tonight!
