The April edition of the Castro Art Walk is tomorrow with 18 art exhibits all across the amazing Castro Arts District in San Francisco. You don’t want to miss it!
The Castro Art Walk is 5 - 8, and some businesses stay even later.

#1 Chartreuse by Roje (2095 Market St):
A revised collection from Alison Price inspired by the 2025 Pantone Color of the Year Mocha Mousse and another live artist event with Sebastian Pridmore! |

#2 Blackbird (2124 Market St): Blackbird will feature the photography of Gareth Gooch, "Eye of the Beholder" Photography of San Francisco Sub-Culture. Introduction of the new Artist BOGI. |

#3 The Academy (2166 Market St): For the monthly Castro Art Walk, we are featuring three exhibits of works by Mark Garrett & Jasper Wilde. |

#5 Art House SF (2324 Market St):
Back for his 2nd solo show, Art House SF welcomes a contemporary Japanese woodblock master, Hajime Namiki. Last year’s show was the best exhibit of the year, so in May 2024, we flew to Japan to bring back more of Namiki’s work. We traveled to Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka, and then spent 6 months carefully framing each piece. |

#7 Klein Epstein Parker (2331 Castro St):
Rayyaneh Karami. Rayyaneh in Wonderland is a sculptural exploration of cultural shock, identity, and the surreal experience of displacement. As an Iranian woman raised in a strict household, my move to San Francisco was a collision of realities—an abrupt confrontation with unfamiliar freedoms, societal norms, and taboos I had never encountered. Each sculpture in this series embodies my emotional response to this transition. |

#7 MAG Galleries (3931 18th St):
GAME NIGHT: Kai Tse and Andrea Bergen.
Mixed media artists Andrea Bergen and Kai Tse are bringing their vibrant, animal-centric work to MAG Galleries in April 2025. “Game Night,” the title inspired by big game hunting, will feature sculptures, collages, and tufted rugs from the duo in their first exhibition together. The Bay Area locals examine animal-human relationships through an irreverent lens, showcasing creatures in a sensitive yet playful manner. |

Hideo C. Yoshida will present a selection of works on paper and works in clay, illustrating his journey through different media over the years.

#10 Queer Arts Featured (575 Castro St):
Our current exhibit is called "How Are You" - An Artful Response To A Complex Question.
We did an open call to queer artists in the Bay Area. The exhibit is 22 artists responses to this prompt. It is an emotive show with many mediums and a variety of artistic styles. |

#12 Welcome Castro (525 Castro St):
Nicolas Held is a native of San Francisco & an emerging artist, whose main medium is the alluring art of hot blown glass. He enjoys the process of making various forms with different functions, incorporating the variety of patterns and decor that the medium of glass offers. |
