The October edition of the Castro Art Walk is tomorrow with 18 art exhibits all across the amazing Castro Arts District in San Francisco. You don’t want to miss it!
The Castro Art Walk is 5 - 8, and some businesses stay even later.

Join us for the first Guided Tour of the Castro Art Walk with our volunteer, Sophie. It starts at 6pm and we’ll visit all 18 locations with the most optimal route.

#3 The Academy (2166 Market St): Join us for the monthly Castro Art Walk as we continue our current exhibit featuring works by Bill Samios. This event is free and open to the public, on our club's Main Level. |

#4 Harvey Milk Photo Center (50 Scott St):
Arthur Tress - “Observations at the Water’s Edge.” With this small sampling of imagery, we’ve culled photographs from Arthur’s recent projects including his 30 years spent living in and documenting his life in Cambria and his recent project documenting Mare Island. |

Art House SF is excited to bring back the latest art of George Abramidze, a contemporary Georgian surrealist artist. George’s work exudes the warmth, hospitality, romanticism and temperament of his native country. |

For the month of November we are exhibiting the art of Randy Lucina! Randy is a passionate portrait photographer dedicated to capturing and celebrating the diverse and vibrant queer scenes in both the Bay Area and Sacramento. Through his lens, he aspires to promote acceptance to foster a more inclusive society.
This event is from 8 to 10pm. |

#11 Headprint Studio (4327 18th St):
Johnny Botts is an award-winning artist, specializing in colorful pop art, often featuring robots. He lives and works in San Francisco with his husband of many years. In Silicon Valley, Johnny designed equipment for outer space in the early days of CAD, and left that behind in 2013 to create art full time. |

#13 Welcome Castro (525 Castro St):
Gianluca Franzese is an Italian-born American artist who has lived and worked in San Francisco over the past 14 years. The son of a jewelry maker and a pupil of the old masters of Italian art, he started painting early on, moving through realist, expressive, and narrative styles. With a background in decorative painting, his style has evolved to blend continuous patterns of color with dynamic metal reflections, with meticulous attention to detail and dedication to flawlessness. Each painting plays with the viewer’s perspective, illuminating the spaces in which they reside. |

Queer Arts Feature will host “Giving Them Their Flowers” exhibit. The exhibit features works commissioned by the Castro LGBTQ Cultural District: "Living Lesbian Legends" by Tanya Wischerath & "Circle of Change" by Serge Gay Jr. This show opening will have music by DJ La Femme Papi |

#17 Ruby’s Clay Studio and Gallery (552A Noe St):
Featuring photographs by Jean-Pierre Noury.On view Friday, November 1 through Thursday, November 14
Jean-Pierre Noury is a mid-career Photographer, Director and Producer from the seaside town of Lorient in Brittany. In his current exhibition, Noury finds for us 'Les Oubliees de la Route', automobiles abandoned by their owners in rural France. The settings for these portraits are unvisited forests, hidden corners of private lands and small garages lost in the countryside. |

Joel Hernandez's work is relevant at all times, but Día de los Muertos has grown in popularity in San Francisco, and we are excited to add another cultural component to this celebration of remembrance.” Hernandez uses the traditional medium of papier-mâché which is also called "carton piedra" (rock cardboard) to create his sculptures. |
